Gastroscopy

A gastroscopy allows us to examine the lining of your oesophagus, stomach, and duodenum. It’s an essential procedure for diagnosing conditions such as stomach ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GORD), and more.

What to Expect:

The procedure is typically done on an outpatient basis and takes about 15-20 minutes. We prioritise your comfort and safety throughout.

Capsule Endoscopy

A capsule endoscopy enables us to examine the lining of your small intestine, a region that is not easily accessed with traditional endoscopy methods.

What to Expect:

The procedure involves swallowing a small, pill-sized camera that travels through your gastrointestinal tract, capturing images. It’s done on an outpatient basis and usually takes about 12-24 hours for the capsule to pass through your system. Less than half of patients will see the capsule endoscope in the toilet.

Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

A specialist investigation used to closely examine the structures of the gastrointestinal tract and nearby organs.

Colonoscopy

A colonoscopy is a critical tool in the early detection and prevention of colorectal cancer. It can also identify issues like polyps, colitis, and diverticulosis.

What to Expect:

This procedure usually lasts about 20-30 minutes. Sedation is provided to ensure you’re comfortable and relaxed.

Consultation Services

Our consultation services offer you the opportunity to discuss your digestive health concerns with Dr Mishra & Dr Francis, who utilise our clinic to provide care which is tailored to your specific needs.

What to Expect:

During your consultation, Dr Mishra & Dr Francis will seek to gain a thorough understanding of your illness and carefully discuss the therapeutic options available to you as well as the next steps in your care.

ERCP

A skilful procedure to diagnose and treat gallstones, scars, leaks and cancer in the ducts from the gallbladder, pancreas and liver.
